If approaching from Cornwall, along A38:

A38 from Liskeard.

Straight on at Saltash Granada Services Roundabout to Plymouth.

At entrance to Tunnel, take left-hand slip road.  (NB – Don’t make a mistake as there is no turning back and it will cost you £1 to cross the bridge!)

Turn left at ‘T’ junction.

Turn left to Waterside (along Old Ferry Road).

Follow Old Ferry Road – ½ mile, passing under road and rail bridges.  Boatman Inn on right, Ashtorre Rock on left, on river’s edge.

If approaching from Devon, along A38:

Stay in left-hand lane of Tamar Bridge.

Take Saltash Town left-hand slip road.  Get in right-hand lane (signposted to China Fleet Golf Club).  

Follow the road to the right, across the Tunnel and down the hill.  

At bottom of hill, turn right to Waterside (along Old Ferry Road).

Follow Old Ferry Road – ½ mile, passing under road and rail bridges.  Boatman Inn on right, Ashtorre Rock on left, on river’s edge.

If Arriving by Train:

Saltash station is just five minutes walk from Ashtorre Rock. Saltash is served by regular trains from Plymouth, and beyond, and from Cornwall. Saltash lies on the mainline between Penzance and London Paddington with a mix of local and High Speed Train services.
